Guessing they get a one hour meal or me-time break but can't 'punch out' for daily snack, bev, smoke, or unwind break. (Should get a legal short break multiple times per day.) I worked places back in the day where you were not allowed to take any breaks. That was illegal but try to prove it. Bad economy, too.
