Hiriyara Utsava: Elders Fest, an event celebrating the spirit, talent, and contributions of senior citizens, is being organised by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, in association with Nightingales Medical Trust and V-the-Volunteers, on Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hudson Memorial Community Centre, Bengaluru.“The event will bring together over 200 senior citizens from senior citizen homes and elder day care centres across Bengaluru. Hiriyara Utsava aims to promote healthy ageing, encourage intergenerational bonding, and provide a platform for elders to showcase their talents through cultural performances, games, and interactive activities,” said a release from the organisers of the event.Published - March 07, 2026 11:40 pm IST
