The thing is, the S&P 500 is still very weak and likely to continue expanding lower, so the VIX should follow suit. That doesn't mean it’s going to explode from 30 to 40, but it’s definitely going to be a fun week. Neutral for now —no edge right at the center— but look at that bullish candle, it certainly looks explosive.
