Disney Closing Down Theme Park From 11 a.m. Today, All Guests Warned

Wait 5 sec.

One Disney park will start removing guests from the premises at 11 a.m. today. While hours vary from park to park, Disney’s destinations typically open from morning to early evening, at the very least. The likes of Disney’s Animal Kingdom typically close earlier than other parks – especially since it axed its nighttime entertainment post-pandemic – while castle parks such as Disneyland Park can stay open as late as midnight.Credit: My Frozen Life, FlickrToday, however, one park is shuttering in stages from 11 a.m. onwards.Disney Kicks Off Unusual 11 a.m. ClosureAs announced in September, Walt Disney Studios Park is gradually closing the park area by area. The first closure at the Disneyland Paris theme park comes at 11 a.m. with Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy. From there, sections of the area will shut down in stages, ending with Animation Boutique at 6 p.m.To make things clearer for guests unaware of the early closures, Disney has placed custom signs outside several attractions and areas in the park to advise guests on their respective timings. Custom signs have also been made for each attraction affected by the early closure Custom signs have also been made for each attraction affected by the early closure pic.twitter.com/NV96srPede— DLP Report (@DLPReport) October 9, 2025Disney hasn’t provided an explanation for the closure. However, the most logical explanation is a private event.Backing up this theory is the fact that a temporary stage has been erected in Place de Remy, the area outside Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy. At Place de Remy a stage and LED screen has been setup in the tunnel leading to ToyStory Playland. The area closes in… 2 hours. pic.twitter.com/uzsVnEavK8— DLP Report (@DLPReport) October 9, 2025Notably, Disneyland Paris typically also closes both Walt Disney Studios Park (which will become Disney Adventure World next year with the opening of World of Frozen) and Disneyland Park early for several days in the run-up to Christmas for private cast member events. For guests visiting Disneyland Paris today, the closures are sure to prove disappointing. While Disneyland Park itself is a sizeable theme park – not to mention, it’s arguably Disney’s prettiest castle park – it hasn’t received a new attraction since Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast in 2006. The closure of Walt Disney Studios Park today leaves even fewer options for Disney parkgoers than usual.Disneyland Paris, in general, is undergoing mass construction right now. After years of criticism for its low-budget, non-Disney vibe, Walt Disney Studios Park is in the process of adding both World of Frozen and a Lion King-themed land. It will also receive attractions inspired by both Tangled (2010) and Up (2009), plus a lake for nighttime spectaculars and a new table-service restaurant.Outside the parks, Disney Village – the Disneyland Paris equivalent of Downtown Disney or Disney Springs – is also mid-makeover. As it sheds its kitschy, ’90s aesthetic, it’s adding a brand-new McDonald’s in 2026 and other, more modern eateries.Have you visited Walt Disney Studios Park recently? The post Disney Closing Down Theme Park From 11 a.m. Today, All Guests Warned appeared first on Inside the Magic.
