it's called a backup phone, The world is too connected today that spend even one day without a cell phone sometimes, and depending on OP's job it could depend on it. I have 3 phones. Pixel 6 is my main, Pixel 3 XL is my backup, and a pixel 3 is my backup of a backup. it also have a pixel 2 without a SIM in it and I use for some stuff.
