Relationships can be hard work, but when you’re dating an immature man-child the work is practically quadrupled. One woman shared her story of her childish and controlling ex on TikTok and it might be enough to put you off dating for life. If you haven’t heard of the “day in the life with your boyfriend from hell” trend on TikTok, it involves partners sharing traumatic stories involving their ex or even current boyfriends. These boyfriends can range from inconsiderate jerks to downright evil spawns of Satan whose sole purpose seems to be spreading misery. A woman by the name of Lillian has a boyfriend who leans towards the latter. “Here’s a day in the life with your boyfriend from hell,” Lillian states at the start of her video. Starting with the first text in the morning things already aren’t going well as the unnamed boyfriend gives her attitude for her “good morning” text. After their rather sour morning exchange he refuses to hang out with her even though he admits he has no plans for the day. Things don’t get really bad until Lillian makes plans to hang out with her friends who bring their boyfriends along. Upon learning that she’ll be hanging out with a group that includes other men, Lillian’s boyfriend proceeds to freak out, (he was also invited to the plans but refused to come). @cerealkiller4988 day 1 with your boyfriend from hell. #fypシ ♬ original sound – lillian He then goes dark, not texting or calling Lillian. When she finally calls him he tells her that she is not allowed to go out without him when there are other guys present. He then tells Lillian that because she’s out with friends he’s allowed to “cheat for the night.” I beg your finest pardon? We’ve seen a fair few toxic partners exposed on TikTok but this is a new one. What kind of messed up logic is this? Hanging out with platonic friends of the opposite gender now justifies cheating? He then hangs up the phone and goes to the bar until three in the morning. When he calls back he tells Lillian he was upset with her for hanging out with other guys and “that’s why he did what he did.” This guy is a walking red flag. “What episode does he die?” asked one viewer. Another person expressed their disbelief, writing, “theres literally no way anyone acts like this bro.” Unfortunately it seems some people do act like this and others on TikTok were able to confirm as much by sharing similar scenarios they went through with their boyfriends. “Wow this feels so familiar,” wrote one, “so this exact scenario but I was hanging out with my sisters,” adds another. The worst part is that Lillian has more stories about this “boyfriend from hell” which she is sharing over on her TikTok. It seems some men are just incapable of growing up.
