Galaxy F36 and Galaxy M36 get the One UI 8 update

Samsung’s One UI 8.0 (Android 16) rollout schedule for India says that the brand will offer the update to over seventy devices this month (October). The Galaxy F36 and the Galaxy M36 are among them. Considering that these phones are more affordable than some of the other devices on the list, we expected the company to release the new software to these phones towards the end of the month, with newer and more expensive models getting it earlier. Well, Samsung has surprised us.Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8 update to the Galaxy F36 and the M36 in India. The update for the former is 2,344.43MB in size and carries firmware version E366BXXU2BYI4 (via Mohammed Khatri). Whereas, the update for the latter is 2,359.37MB in size and carries firmware version M366BXXUZBYI3 (via Samsung’s Community forum for India). You can check them out in the screenshots below.
