India and the UK are set to operationalize their Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) following a bilateral meeting between Union Minister Piyush Goyal and UK Secretary of State Peter Kyle. The ministers agreed to reposition the Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) to oversee CETA's implementation, aiming to double bilateral trade by 2030 through cooperation in key sectors.
