Over the past few weeks, Samsung has released the One UI 8.0 update for several high-end and mid-range Galaxy phones and tablets. The company has now released the update for its oldest Galaxy Z phones that are compatible with One UI 8: Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4.Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 getting One UI 8.0 update in several regionsThe stable One UI 8.0 update, based on Android 16, is now rolling out to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in several countries across Africa, Asia, and Europe. The update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes bearing firmware version F721BXXUAIYIF, while the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has firmware version F936BXXUAIYIF.It includes the October 2025 securtity patch to make the phone more secure. The update has a download size of over 3GB, so it would be ideal to download it via a Wi-Fi connection.If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 4 or a Galaxy Z Fold 4 and live in any of the regions mentioned above, you should check for the new update by heading over to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
