Scunthorpe come into this game as the clear favourites and they should be able to win with some room to spare against a Morecambe side who have been conceding heavily on their travels.Morecambe have three defeats in five games on the road in the National League and all of those losses have come by at least three goals. The visitors have shipped at least three goals in four of their trips, while Scunthorpe have won by two or more goals against the likes of York and Southend this season.Therefore, a comfortable win for the home side could well be on the cards. The Italian champions should have too much for visitors Benfica, who fell short in qualifying for last year’s edition of this tournament.Last season’s runners-up Barcelona will be eager to show they can go one better and they should see off Bayern Munich fairly easily. The Spanish club crushed Wolfsburg 10-2 on aggregate last season and they pushed Bayern all the way for the German title so there is perhaps a gulf in class here.Arsenal are the current holders and they face a tough tie against French heavyweights Lyon, but the English club will want to make a statement as defending champions and that could be the extra bit of motivation they need to win.
