(Source: PTI)After steady showers on Tuesday (Oct 7), Chennai and several parts of Tamil Nadu are set for another wet spell as as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate rain with thunder and lightning. An orange alert has been issued for 12 districts, including Coimbatore, Theni, Dindigul, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Nilgiris and Tirupattur, where heavy rain is expected at isolated places.The weather office attributed the wet spell to an atmospheric low-pressure area off the Tamil Nadu coast in the southwest Bay of Bengal, coupled with another system over southern India.
