SwitchBot Lock Pro smart locksI've tested nearly every smart lock on the market, and I cannot recommend the SwitchBot Lock Pro enough, as you can read in my review. It's reliable, simple, and comes with many useful features. It's also extremely renter-friendly, so you can install it easily with minimal work. You can get just the smart lock for $69.99 (originally $119.99), but if you want everything you need to work it remotely, get the bundle.Google Nest thermostatsFor my home, I also use the Google Nest Thermostat, which looks great and works reliably. You can control your HVAC remotely with the Google app and set routines for $91.99 (originally $129.99).Google TV and Roku streaming sticksAnother great Google product I recommend is the Google TV Streamer 4K, currently $79.98 (originally $99.99). I've been using it since the first generation came out. I love it because it lets me easily cast my phone to any TV or projector (Android or iOS alike). This specific model is compatible with 4K resolution. If you're looking for the Roku equivalent, the Roku Ultra for $69 (originally $99.99) is your best bet and is also discounted right now.Amazon Fire tabletsIf you're looking for a budget tablet under $100, do not consider any tablet other than the Amazon Fire HD 10, currently just $69.99 (originally $139.99). Any other tablet is likely to be a bust, but the Fire HD 10 has been a solid budget option since its 2023 release.A MIDI keyboard for a jam sessionOur Senior Staff Writer, Stephen Johnson, loves this MIDI Keyboard, even though he claims to be terrible at it.
