Governor S. Abdul Nazeer on Wednesday appointed Vice-Chancellors to five universities in Andhra Pradesh.Professor Venkata Satyanarayana Raju Samantapudi, a scholar of etymology at Banaras Hindu University, Uttar Pradesh, has been named Vice-Chancellor of Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur. Senior Professor Bellamkonda Rajasekhar of the University of Hyderabad will serve as Vice-Chancellor of Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa.Professor V. Venkata Subba Rao, of Mechanical Engineering at University College of Engineering, JNTU Kakinada, has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of JNTU-Gurajada, Vizianagaram. Tata Nursing Rao, research advisor and adjunct professor at IIT Hyderabad, has been chosen as Vice-Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.B.
