Musician and presidential adviser on ghetto affairs, Buchaman, has expressed deep regret over joining the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), saying he now feels sidelined and betrayed.Buchaman, who was appointed by President Museveni to help mobilize and empower ghetto youth, revealed that most of his ideas and projects meant to uplift the ghetto community were frustrated by selfish individuals within the system.It hurt me but that’s how NRM is like. People start things and other people jump on them because we come up with our ideas and people whose aim is to eat money chase you out.
