Malta’s hopes in the 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers took another blow last night as the Netherlands secured a convincing 4-0 victory at the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali.The Netherland’s goals were scored by Cody Gakpo, who scored twice from the penalty spot, Tijjani Reijnders and Memphis Depay.Gakpo opened the scoring in the 12th minute after the Dutch were awarded an early penalty.
