(Photo: Instagram/Channing Tatum)Actor Channing Tatum is currently riding the waves of success and appreciation after his performance in Roofman bagged him standing ovations and splendid reviews. While the Derek Cianfrance directorial might have fed the soul inside of Tatum, he has another major project coming his way that will do that and much more: Avengers: Doomsday. To talk about both these films, Tatum went to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and shared some interesting details about the projects.Fallon asked Channing about his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and how he felt working in Deadpool and Wolverine. Channing responded to Fallon’s comment about people going nuts when he walked in as Gambit and said, “People weren’t going nuts for me. I was freaking out, man. Like standing there on the set and looking around you and thinking, ‘That’s Wolverine, that’s Blade.’ I get to play my favourite character, which is Gambit. I mean, I was the kid who was throwing cards at friends in the living room. I always wanted to be an X-Man, so now to be in the Avengers, it is beyond my wildest dreams.”ALSO READ: Jeff Bridges tells ICE to get off the streets and get into beverages as he transforms into the ‘Dude’ from The Big LebowskiWhen asked about some inside details from Doomsday, Channing said, “I think they put a chip in me so that if I say something stupid, I would just start getting seizures. They are psychos. They have to exceed their expectations every single time, and I was like, ‘How are they going to do it? How are they going to surpass the last thing they did?’ My first question after reading the script was, ‘How are you guys going to pull this story off?’ You guys just aren’t ready for what is about to happen.”Channing then moved to talking about Roofman and admitted that he would have worked as the “second cop” if it meant working with director Cianfrance. He also recalled a certain uncomfortable nude scene where he had to run away from Game of Thrones royalty Peter Dinklage. “I don’t care what you feel about your body and how confident you are; it’s just your worst nightmare. Everyone else is clothed, by the way, and I remember just skimming through the script and thinking, ‘Maybe he will take one shot from behind, or maybe just waist up.’ So I went to him and asked him what he had planned, and he just said, ‘I don’t know.’”Channing added that Derek called him after filming was done and asked, “‘What do you want me to do with it (the scene)?’ I am like, ‘I don’t know, man, make it look good, or not too good. Just don’t make it look weird.”Roofman’s cast also includes Kirsten Dunst, LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Lily Collins, Tony Revolori, and Emory Cohen.Click for more updates and latest Hollywood News along with Bollywood and Entertainment updates.
