However, no one was injured in the incident, they said.According to the police, the vehicle, bearing an Uttar Pradesh registration number, was being driven by Sunit, a resident of Sector 100 in Noida, who has been taken into custody.“Since the vehicles were parked and unoccupied, the incident did not result in serious injuries, though the vehicles sustained damage,” Vipin (who goes by a single name), Station House Officer, Expressway Police Station, told The Indian Express. The police said they received information about the accident around midnight.“Preliminary investigation suggested that the driver allegedly lost control of the SUV while negotiating a busy intersection.
