You feel like you want to stay longer and keep listening to him. What I do is, I quietly take iPad from his daughter Suhana Khan and start playing his songs. Then I don’t let anybody else play any other songs. Only Shah Rukh songs are played at the party. Then sir also comes and I also hit the get floored. I have a lot of fun there. It feels like a lifetime achievement award whenever I go to a party at Mannat.”Raghav also recalled partying with Shah Rukh at the recently organised IIFA Awards in Jaipur. He said, “There was a party where everyone was partying, but we were partying separately with Shah Rukh Khan. So, we were sitting there, and I looked at the speakers and I just started playing ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’. Sir looked at me and said ‘Teri hansratein kam nahi hoti (Your desires never decrease)’ and then he started dancing.”Also read | Small-town Amitabh Bachchan fan, who came to Mumbai to catch his glimpse, is 5x richer than him today with Rs 8,660 net worthHe further spoke about Shah Rukh’s dance floor at Mannat, calling it “beautiful.” He said, “He has a beautiful library. It felt like an old library in Mussoorie. The aesthetic is very well-balanced in that space.”Raghav also shared how the environment in Mannat feels very gharelu (homely). He said, “Mannat has a very gharelu mahaul and the one thing that I like the most about it is that it is the only house in Bandra where they speak both Hindi and Urdu. Gauri mam would first ask us, ‘Pehle khana kha lo (Eat first).’ They are such big people, but they are still worried about me having food on time. These are the things that happen in normal households. Mannat has 5-star chefs and they have seven-course meal type of thing but even in that environment Gauri Mam is like ‘Khana kha lo waste ho jayega (Eat food otherwise it will get wasted).’ They care about simple things. These are basic, respectful things.”Click here to follow Screen Digital on YouTube and stay updated with the latest from the world of cinema.© IE Online Media Services Pvt LtdTags:Shah Rukh Khan
