You know who this “position” is for? GRANDPARENTS. People used to live in a multi-generational houses back in the day; that was very common. While both parents worked, grandparents were taking care of kids, but the parents were providing for the entire family, including the elderly, obviously. Now, these days people don’t want that: they want to move out and live in their own house. But still, they envision that someone is living in their house for free to babysit their kids. It doesn’t work that way! Grandparents would take care of the kids because they are the FAMILY, so that makes sense. You can’t expect a complete stranger to be so much attached to you and your kids to stay in your house for free to take care of them! 🤦🏼‍♀️
