When I first bought the car, it passed smog but I didnt get it done at the time bc I needed to see the referee since regular smog shops couldn't read the car or some shit. I didnt get that done and then I literally drove it less than 100 miles a month, so, i just never got it done. Then, right when I started using it again and planned to get it smogged, my fucking engine light clicks on and oh guess what my fucking catalytic converter took a shit and it no longer passed smog. Even better, I found out my stupid car haS 2 CCs so I can look forward to having to replace the second one at some point. It was like 5k for the repairs. What's worse is that I originally tried to register it and even paid for the registration out of pocket when I got the car but didnt have the smog cert and then when I registered it again I had to pay nearly 900 for fucking everything. I have put so much more money into this car than I paid for it. But, the used car market a few years ago and even now is total balls. Especially because I specifically wanted to go from my usual Toyota corolla to a full size SUV.
