It has a photo gallery, an image editor, AI-powered features, and even a people view. This new app has a brand-new design that inspires from new-age image gallery apps seen on smartphones and tablets, which makes it perfect for your Galaxy Book's touchscreen display. As you can see in the image above, it has dedicated tabs for Albums, Favorites, Gallery, Moments, People, and This PC. In the People tab, the app identifies people's faces and groups images by people. You can name those people for easier management of photos related to people, like your family members.More importantly, it will work with photos stored on your laptop. You don't need to upload images to OneDrive to make use of all the photo editing features. If you do have a OneDrive subscription and decide to upload your photo library to the cloud, the app's Copilot integration will come in handy. You can ask it questions about photos in your library. For example, you can ask it to show all the photos from your last holiday. It will have AI-powered capabilities similar to those Google showcased at Google I/O 2025. The company showcased how Gemini can go through your entire Google Photos library to help you recollect memories, ask questions about your friends and family members, and the places you visited.Microsoft is also bringing an improved OneDrive app for Android and iOS. This mobile app will feature AI-powered image editing, allowing you to transform your photos into animated style images. It can also improve blurry images and remove duplicate shots. Additionally, if you use the OneDrive app for image editing and viewing on your Galaxy Book, using the mobile app on your Galaxy phone or tablet will simplify things, as your data will be seamlessly synced. The post Galaxy Books will soon get a much better OneDrive app appeared first on SamMobile.
