Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s latest is currently feeling all that pressure and more. Faced with mixed reviews,  the film’s collection at the box office has been slow. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari made Rs 2 crore on its eighth day at the theatres, taking its India net collection to Rs 40.75 crore.Directed by Shashank Khaitan, a filmmaker who at this point knows exactly how to use Varun, having worked with him in the same capacity before in Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya and Humoty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya. Its opening day brought in Rs 9.25 crore. During its first weekend at the box office, the daily collection never went up to double digits. Shashank’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania with Varun and Alia Bhatt earned Rs 12.27 crore on its opening day. Its total net collection in the country went up to Rs 117.89 crore, and its total worldwide collection was Rs 201 crore.ALSO READ: Deepika Padukone breaks her silence on walking out of Spirit, Kalki 2898 AD sequel: ‘To fight my battles silently and in a dignified way…’Varun’s last outing at the BO was the Kalees film Baby John, which made Rs 39.5 crore. The evening and night shows improved ever so slightly and filled 12.77% and 15.15% of the total seats, respectively.Helmed by Shashank Khaitan, the cast of the film includes Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, Abhinav Sharma, Akshay Oberoi, and Maniesh Paul.Click here to follow Screen Digital on YouTube and stay updated with the latest from the world of cinema.© IE Online Media Services Pvt Ltd
