Interestingly, Kantara 2’s Monday collection is 10 times that of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (Rs 3 crore) and 19 times that of Dhanush’s Idli Kadai (Rs 1.6 crore), which released alongside it.Also Read | Karan Johar says actors don’t return money after flops, won’t reduce fees even if you launched them: ‘Shah Rukh is the only one…’While Kantara’s original Kannada edition earned Rs 11.5 crore on Monday, the Hindi version contributed Rs 8.75 crore and the Telugu version Rs 5.5 crore.
