However, the film struggled to sustain its momentum and eventually failed the Monday litmus test. The film saw a 40 percent drop on Friday, collecting Rs 5.5 crore. Over its first weekend, it witnessed a slight growth of around 36 percent, minting Rs 7.5 crore and Rs 7.75 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. However, it saw a steep 61 percent fall on Monday as earnings dipped to Rs 3 crore.
