The brushless motor provides plenty of power, and I haven’t found anything it can’t cut. It’s pretty smooth—other reciprocating saws can buck when they hit a snag, but this hasn’t, so far—and the battery provides solid running time. I’ve had to work in some pretty cramped spaces in my small house, and having this as an option when the bigger tools are awkward has made a lot of projects not just easier, but possible in the first place.It’s a good value at its normal price; at $118 for Prime Day, it’s even better, especially if you frequently find standard hacksaws difficult to maneuver during your projects.Looking for something else?
