Netizens are roasting NTV Uganda after its programme, NTVMen, dedicated time to discuss showering. NTV posted on social media: "#NTVMen: Today’s topic is men’s hygiene, with a challenge: Is showering twice a day really necessary?" This did not sit well with netizens who hold the Kampala Serena Hotel-based television station in high regard. Dear Ntv, host a panel with men like @KakandeAlex to talk about unit trusts, bonds, taxes & financial resilience. Let them unpack how men can build wealth. Also, elections are coming & Uganda’s debt is constantly rising 🙂‍↔️ https://t.co/5lz62B0WLD— MAiSHA🦋✨ (@LynMaisha) September 3, 2025 Some were shocked that panelists, who hold prominent corporate positions, would accept discussing such a topic. An X user, @zeerobrain, commented: "I’m looking at two guys here and wondering how they shower, dress up, and come to TV to talk about such topics – Peter Igaga and Colin Asiimwe 😂" I am looking at two guys here and wondering how they shower, dress up and come to TV to jazz about such topics - Peter Igaga and Colin Asiimwe 😂 https://t.co/eMQvJ3AkVr— Useful Idiot (@ZeeroBrain) September 3, 2025 Colin Asiimwe is the Head of Marketing at MultiChoice Uganda, while Peter Igaga has previously worked as Business Manager at Nation Media Group, Sales & Marketing Manager at the now-defunct WBS TV, and Media & PR Director at WPP-Scangroup. Meanwhile, netizens have suggested alternative topics that they believe would be more beneficial to men. Here are topics for you guys.. crypto trading and staking , bonds, unit trusts,NFTs,dApp development, real estate, entrepreneurship, side hustles , generational wealth, writing a will, insurance packages, budgeting and saving and Stress management https://t.co/r8HBzQ6fea— TooThpasTe (Isa) (@_TooThpasTe___) September 3, 2025 It is also worth noting that the show has previously covered a wide range of relevant issues. I can’t believe grown men go on TV to discuss showering🙄 https://t.co/H2XWHe79qh— MUKIGA TRAVELLER✈️ (@MukigaTraveller) September 3, 2025 Are we in P3? https://t.co/rUzUfW4Ibe pic.twitter.com/LreUROals4— medard (@owakiberengye) September 3, 2025 I too, miss when men went to war and never returned. https://t.co/jRCoVrvHhh— kemigisha (@k_ophelia) September 3, 2025
