We had two like that at my childhood barn! One was this big ugly Appaloosa named Buddy Boy. Amazing school horse. He had a young man with Downs syndrome’s who would come out and ride him all around. The man wasn’t all that gentle, but Buddy was a saint. He kept teaching tiny lessons till he died and was treated like gold. We all loved him.
