Drug testing on drivers has officially started across Malta and Gozo, following recent legal changes.In the first few days of enforcement, three drivers involved in collisions tested positive for drug use, while another driver was caught during routine roadside checks.The additional case was identified during inspections on the Coast Road where 70 vehicles were stopped.During the same operation, authorities issued 32 fines for traffic violations, with 11 drivers caught speeding.Police confirmed that these checks will continue regularly, at different times of the day, as part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety.What do you think about these new checks?•
