Last month, Samsung launched two new Galaxy A series smartphones, the Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A57, and promised to offer them six major software updates and security updates for six years. Now, the brand has released the first software update for the latter.The first software update for the Galaxy A57 is live for the phoneâs international model in regions, including Europe and India. Rather, it offers under-the-hood changes. More specifically, the changelog says that for âStability and reliability,â the âDevice behaviour has been improved.âThe phone should receive another (minor) software update within a few weeks, offering either the March 2026 security patch or the April 2026 security patch. As for major software updates for the phone, the first one should bring One UI 9.0 (Android 17), which is currently under development.
