Ghana midfielder Francis Abu has expressed frustration over widespread claims that he will miss out on the Black Stars squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup following his recent injury.The Black Stars player, who features for Toulouse FC, suffered a broken leg during Ghana’s international friendly against Japan in the Kirin Cup.His injury has sparked speculation about his availability for the World Cup, with many suggesting he may not recover in time to make the squad.Ghana head into the tournament on the back of disappointing results in March, having suffered a 5-0 defeat to Austria and a 2-1 loss to Germany in international friendlies, raising concerns over the team’s form and momentum.Speaking to JoySports after visiting the Black Stars camp in Germany, Abu dismissed the doubts surrounding his recovery.“I think when things happen, everyone has their own opinion,” he told JoySports’ Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo.“Everyone wants to act like they are doctors or surgeons, but straight after the surgery, the surgeon told me it was possible.
