Nintendo announced a one-day event in Pokemon Pokopia for April Fools’ Day that involves a Challenge opportunity to get an Inflatable Sudowoodo furniture item. It is playable in-game immediately and lasts until 4:59am PT/7:59am ET on April 2, 2026. To take part, you must have reached a point at which at least three Pokemon have moved in to one of the towns. It is available worldwide in-game, following its debut in Japan a few hours earlier. Here’s how to take part in the Pokemon Pokopia April Fools’ Day Inflatable Sudowoodo Challenge. Once you log into the game, check in at a Pokemon Center’s PC to get a message that confirms it is an event day. After that, look for Pokemon in the town where your Ditto wakes up that have a speech bubble with ellipsis in it (…). These characters will quiz you as part of the Challenge called “Correctly Answer Today’s Special Quizzes.” That creature will then try to fool you by talking like another one in-game, and you need to try to correctly identify who they mimicked. If you succeed in three of these quizzes, then you can head back to a Pokemon Center’s PC to claim the free Inflatable Sudowoodo item. It is possible to take a photo of this item and use the 3D printer at a rebuilt Pokemon Center to make additional copies of it. That will cost you two Rare Pokemetal, which you can get occasionally when mining for regular Pokemetal. That can be found easily on the Dream Island tied to the Dragonite plush.Since this is built into the game, the Pokemon Pokopia Inflatable Sudowoodo event will appear every April Fools’ Day.
