META - Bearish RetestMeta Platforms Inc Class ABATS:METAVIAQUANTThis is an update to my last idea: Meta is currently retesting old support, which is now acting as new resistance. If price rolls over from here it would be the perfect structural retest to set up a move toward the lower targets outlined in my last post. Two Things to Note: First, it is possible for Meta to rally slightly higher toward the solid white trendline before rolling over which would be the more extended retest level to watch before the downside move begins. Second, and this is an important conflicting signal, a 3D bullish divergence has formed on the chart. Price created a lower low while the 3D RSI simultaneously double bottomed at oversold conditions (green arrows). This is normally a powerful signal and adds complexity to the otherwise bearish retest setup. Depending on what Trump says tonight, if Meta is able to reclaim the solid white trendline with conviction, the downtrend could be over. For the time being, however, watch for a rollover and downside move from either the dotted white trendline at current levels or the solid white trendline above. Tonight's announcement will likely be the deciding factor.
