Prime Minister Robert Abela has announced that the government will be donating €50,000 to Puttinu Cares following the cancellation of this year’s Good Friday Walk due to bad weather. In a statement, Abela said he had been looking forward to joining the annual walk, which brings together thousands of people each year in support of cancer patients and their families.Despite the event not going ahead, he highlighted how the solidarity of the Maltese and Gozitan people remains strong, describing it as one that gives from the heart without expecting anything in return.
