South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) achieved significant growth in 2025-26. Production rose by 5.26 percent to 176.2 million tonnes. Offtake increased by 4.6 percent to 178.6 million tonnes. SECL also recorded its highest-ever overburden removal. The company is a key contributor to India's energy security. SECL is also exploring diversification into new energy areas.
