Yeah.. probably want to solidify the terms of an agreement before executing it. And maybe don't spend 6 hours packing for some dude who is clearly taking advantage by not being ready for the truck. Letting him take the stuff back off the truck, without stopping at a restaurant of your choice and refusing to leave until you get some compensation, was another turd on the bullshit.
