NAIROBI, Kenya Apr 2 – The late Ol Kalou MP, David Njuguna Kiaraho, will be laid to rest on Friday, April 10, 2026, in Tigoni, Limuru Constituency.Funeral Planning Committee Chairperson Kwenya Thuku (Kinangop) disclosed the MP will be interred in accordance with his wishes.“Our departed colleague will be laid to rest at his farm in Tigoni. He frequently visited the area to relax and reflect, and it is where he indicated he wished to be buried. This is in line with his last wish,’ said Thuku.The Committee also announced that a church service will be held in Ol Kalou on Wednesday , April 8, 2026, at Ol Kalou Stadium to allow constituents to mourn their lawmaker.A funeral service will be held at St Andrew’s Church in Nairobi on Friday, April 10, 2026, before the burial in Tigoni.According to the Committee, the family of the late legislator will spend the Easter weekend at their Ol Kalou home. A vigil will be held at his rural home on Monday, April 6, 2026, ahead of the memorial service at the stadium.The late Kiaraho was serving his third term as the MP for Ol Kalou Constituency, having first been elected to the National Assembly during the 2013 General Elections.He was a member of the Departmental Committee on Transport and Infrastructure and the Procedure and House Rules Committee.The late Kiaraho, died on Saturday while receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital.
