It is one of the better brands found in a GROCERY store but no where near premium brands. (A happy fed dog takes priority obviously) The 1st 5 ingredients are Lamb, rice flour, corn, whole grain wheat & chicken by-product meal Compared to the 1st 5 ingredients in a premium brand are Lamb, Lamb Meal, grain sorghum (healthier than corn or rice because of added nutrients, low glycemic index, rich in antioxidants) cracked pearl barley, & whole grain brown rice.
