Ontario Provincial Police in Caledon have made two arrests in connection with a home invasion in the town last month.Officers responded to reports of a robbery at a home in the area of Mount Hope Road and Old Church Road shortly before 2:00 a.m. on March 17.Police say an amount of property was stolen but none of the occupants in the home were hurt.Four suspects were seen fleeing the area in a dark-coloured SUV.With the help of Peel and Toronto police, investigators from the Caledon Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) have arrested and charged two suspects from Ottawa and recovered stolen property.A 19-year-old and 20-year-old have been charged with multiple offenses including theft under $5,000, robbery with a weapon, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and break and enter into dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence.Both remain in custody and a third suspect has also been identified.With the help of surveillance footage, investigators were able to identify the suspect vehicle used in the home invasion and it has been seized.Police believe the same individuals may have been involved in other criminality in Peel Region.The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Caledon CSCU.
