President Trump on Wednesday lambasted the NATO alliance for their refusal to support the war in Iran, suggesting that the US may no longer be a member because they can’t be relied upon. While beginning his remarks at an Easter lunch event with White House faith leaders, the President highlighted the destruction of Iran, noting, “We’ve had some very good allies over there, we’ve had some very bad allies in NATO.”“We spend trillions of dollars on NATO, and when we need them, which we never do, we didn’t need them here either,” he said.President Trump previously asked NATO for help securing the Strait, but they refused to get involved in the war.
