I write cold emails for my freelance work and the hardest part isn't the writing — it's figuring out what to actually say. Like, I can find stuff about a prospect — their reviews, their site, what competitors are doing. But turning that into an angle that makes them want to reply? That's the part I'm still figuring out. Sometimes I nail it and get a reply in hours. Other times I pick the wrong thing to lead with and it's crickets.
