As the trailer released, fans were quite excited to see the dynamics of the Kapoor family, but they missed watching Alia Bhatt, who is married to Ranbir Kapoor, amid this setting. The special features Ranbir with Kareena Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni with her husband Bharat Sahni, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and many other celebrity Kapoors.Now, Armaan Jain, who is the creator of the special, along with Smriti Mundhra, has revealed the reason behind Alia’s absence. In a chat with Bollywood Hungama, Armaan said, “She had prior commitments to shoot. I might sound filmy, but like Raj Kapoor said, ‘work is worship’.”Smriti added that everyone in the Kapoor family is a workaholic and said, “That is the one thing about this family. They are all workaholics and they all love what they do. While Alia is not a part of the special, she has bee supporting it via her social media handles.With Dining with the Kapoors, the Kapoor family is celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of Raj Kapoor.
