After the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24, and the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung is now rolling out the November 2025 security patch to the Galaxy S22 lineup. It fixes 25 vulnerabilities present in the previous version of the operating system.At the moment, the brand is offering the software update to the international variants of the three phones in the lineup, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The update carries firmware version S90xEXXSCGYK2.We expect Samsung to release the update to other variants of the three phones and in other regions in the next few days. To get the November 2025 security patch on your Galaxy S22, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.The Galaxy S22 is eligible to get One UI 8.5, Samsung’s next version of One UI for Galaxy phones and tablets. It is based on Android 16 QPR2 as opposed to Android 16, which One UI 8 is based on, and offers many upgrades.
