The commerce ministry is finalizing detailed guidelines for the Rs 25,060 crore Export Promotion Mission, set to be released this month. Approved for six years starting 2025-26, the mission aims to support exporters facing high US tariffs through sub-schemes like Niryat Protsahan and Niryat Disha. Priority will be given to sectors like textiles and leather impacted by global tariff escalations.
