In their letter, they also warned that RSS, Shiv Sena members, police and military personnel will be targetted by the group in the future. The letter has been signed in the name of ‘Paramjit Singh’.A senior Punjab Police officer said the antecedents of the senders of this letter will have to be verified. “It could be a fake letter/group or it could be an attempt at obfuscation to mislead the investigation into the murder of Naveen Arora,” he said. A senior intelligence officer said that technical data will be used to find out who is behind this group or whether it is a credible claim. “In the past we have seen that many fake claims have been made to take credit for crimes in the state. Therefore we will investigate this very closely to ascertain who is behind this letter,” the officer said.Arora was shot dead by two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle.
