By: Express News ServiceGhaziabad | November 18, 2025 05:19 AM IST 2 min readThe CCMS, officials said, digitises the process of tracking pending hearings and case status across commissionerate courts.In an effort to improve transparency and expedite case monitoring, the Ghaziabad Police on Monday launched a Commissionerate Courts Monitoring System (CCMS), a web-based platform that allows both citizens and senior officers to track the progress of cases filed under goonda and gangster Acts.ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW VIDEOAccording to a statement issued by the police, the portal “empowers the approach of data-driven policing and people-centric policing, ensuring that judicial processes are accessible and understandable to the general public.”The CCMS, officials said, digitises the process of tracking pending hearings and case status across commissionerate courts.The platform allows users to look up their case details — including previous and upcoming hearing dates — by entering basic information such as the commissionerate, court name, relevant section of the act and case number.“Citizens can now access the pending hearing dates and current status of their cases online, bringing transparency to the entire process,” the statement said.Senior officers, including the Commissioner of Police, will have access to a centralised dashboard that reflects real-time updates on all cases, enabling closer supervision and timely follow-up.The system is also designed to streamline legal workflows, maintain digital court records, and reduce paperwork. Police said the portal is expected to help curb the use of false sureties by allowing better monitoring of bail bonds.Story continues below this adIt will also support “data-driven policymaking” by providing insights into case trends and performance metrics, the statement added.
