From deserts to rainforests, the attraction showcases how innovation and nature can work together. In its vast greenhouses, Disney scientists demonstrate real farming techniques, such as hydroponics and aquaponics, with produce used in EPCOT restaurants, including Garden Grill and Sunshine Seasons.The attraction continues to reflect EPCOT’s original commitment to discovery and forward-thinking sustainability. However, guests should be aware of an upcoming change. According to the official Walt Disney World website, “From November 28 to December 30, 2025, Living with the Land–Glimmering Greenhouses will be offered. During this time, Living with the Land will not be available.”Credit: DisneyNow, reports indicate that Disney has already begun installing the Glimmering Greenhouses at Living with the Land, meaning that guests experiencing the attraction between now and November 28 will encounter a hybrid version of the EPCOT ride. There have been lights, wreaths, and ornaments spotted across the ride.Scary Incident Takes Place at Living with the LandHalloween at the Walt Disney World Resort usually brings festive moments and memorable visits—but for some EPCOT guests this year, the night included an evacuation from one of the park’s longtime attractions. One boat on Living with the Land experienced an issue mid-ride, ultimately leading Cast Members to step in and safely escort guests from the scene.The situation was captured and shared online by TikTok user Wallandwfhatdisney, whose video had reached nearly 30,000 views at the time. The clip shows a boat noticeably sinking on one side with guests still seated as the attraction came to a stop. The caption read: “Current situation. Boat in front of me started to sink and all occupants had to evacuate. We ended up chilling in our boat until cast members escorted us off and out the back.
