Samsung introduced a redesign for the Samsung Internet web browser with the One UI 8.0 update. The company now appears to be preparing an even bigger redesign for the app, and it could be released with the One UI 8.5 update, which could debut early next year.Samsung Internet appears to be getting a great redesignOne UI 8.0 didn't bring a major design change, as Samsung brought a major UI redesign just last year. Recent leaks have revealed that the company is working on another major redesign (version 29.1.2.23), and it includes a makeover of Samsung Internet as well. The upcoming design was shared by a Reddit user.As you can see in the screenshots below, Samsung Internet will have a brand-new introduction screen. The address bar now has a brand-new design as well, featuring Apple's Liquid Glass-like design. It is divided into two sections. The bigger part on the left has the home icon and the URL, while the shorter section on the right houses Browsing Assist, Tabs, and Options icons. You can customize the placement of those shortcuts. In fact, similar to previous versions of the app, layouts and menus can be customized. The menu now opens vertically in a flyover UI element as opposed to the swipe-up screen-wide grid layout that is available currently. The upcoming version of Samsung Internet has three URL bar styles: Compact, Standard, and Bottom. The Compact option displays a pill-shaped UI element hovering towards the bottom of the screen. The Standard option shows a longer pill-shaped bar hovering towards the bottom, while the Bottom design is the same one that is currently available in One UI 8.0. All the open browser tabs can be viewed in three styles: List, Grid, and Stack. The Grid option is different from the Grid option available in One UI 8.0. The new Grid option shows tabs in a two-column arrangement, while the number of rows depends on the number of open tabs. All the tab management options also appear in a pill-shaped bar at the bottom that hovers above the background. A similar design language has been seen in several leaked One UI 8.5 apps, including Finder, Gallery, and Phone. The post Samsung Internet’s brand new design for One UI 8.5 leaks appeared first on SamMobile.
