Actor Christian Bale gained traction after he joined the cast of Michael Mann’s Heat 2 alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.The exciting news was confirmed by Deadline, which quickly created major buzz among fans.According to the sources,  the sequel was moving forward under Amazon MGM Studios and United Artists, with filming expected to begin next year.Mann shifted the project originally with Warner Bros. to Amazon after the production became too expensive and unmanageable for the studio.According to IndieWire, He also reduced the budget to $170 million; the previously allocated budget was $230 million to make the movie financially realistic.The original film, Heat from 1995, remained one of Hollywood’s highest crime thrillers.Earlier, the film featured Al Pacino as Vincent Hanna, Robert De Niro as Neil McCauley and Val Kilmer as Chris Shiherlis.Over the years, the film built a loyal global following, which raised expectations for the new chapter.The upcoming sequel, Heat 2, is expected to be based on the book written by Mann with Meg Gardiner.
