Election Commission of India officials to begin review of SIR work in T.N. from November 24

As part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls, officials from the Election Commission of India (EC) will visit Tamil Nadu between November 24 and 26 to review the overall SIR activities across the State.P. Pawan, Deputy Director, and Devansh Tiwari from the Media Division, EC, will visit Chennai between November 24 and 26 to review media coordination and voter awareness activities of SIR Phase-II, said an official release from Chief Electoral Officer Archana Patnaik.Krishna Kumar Tiwari, Director, EC, will visit Coimbatore and Tiruppur districts to review the progress of SIR, especially the distribution of enumeration forms and its digitisation by the BLOs at the district level, it said.
