Hundreds of devotees from across Telangana gathered to mark the 350th Anointment Day of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru, in the mass congregation at Municipal Grounds in Chilkalguda, Sitaphalmandi, on Sunday.The celebrations formed part of the week-long observance of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh guru, from November 23 to 30. Guru Tegh Bahadur is honoured globally for his sacrifice in defending human dignity, religious freedom and the rights of the oppressed.
